I know how hard it is to get information in the city when it comes to Obstetricians practices, C-section rates and Vbac rates.

Through the years, having worked as a doula in most of NYC hospitals, I have compiled a list of the best Drs in the city when it comes to natural birth (meaning vaginal unmedicated birth) and very low intervention rates and cesarean rates.
Please keep in mind that I have not worked with all of these Drs personally but I have feedback from clients and other doulas.
If you are still early in your pregancy I recommend you secure a care provider whose philosophy about birth is aligned with yours. There is not one way of doing things and the choice is yours.
If you are later in your preganncy and are looking to switch, try to call everyone asap so that you can figure out the insurance situation.
